When my friend recommended Dot5, I was skeptical because of the low price. I have always been a firm believer of -you get what you pay for- so I didn’t expect much for $4.95 a month. Wow was I wrong. A little searching of their easy to navigate site showed me that Dot5 only uses the most advanced hardware and software for their servers, not to mention the tons of bonus software I would given when I signed up. I’ve been using them for a few months now and Dot5 has proven to be incredibly powerful, my site is up at all times and my download speeds are great. The biggest difference compared with HostSave was plain speed. Super fast CGI execution, I simply fell off my chair when I saw it. HostSave's CGI execution was terrible. Note this is not the same as simple HTML downloading, because Hostsave would sit and think for hours about my Perl scripts which Dot5 was now doing in milliseconds (overall impression 9.8/10)

Server speed is extremely fast for downloading and uploads are always at my upload cap of 30k. The customer service is the best; my questions are answered in 2 hours usually, and their online support guy can help solve your problems. Downtime has never been a problem.
